Dr. Michelle Stephens shares her journey of love and loss, learning and hope with us on the Champions of Hope podcast. As a pediatric clinician, she was inspired to pursue pediatrics after her brother passed away from a congenital heart defect. She became aware of how early childhood stress affects adult health outcomes through her investigation and academic pursuits with her master's and doctoral degrees.

Her motherhood journey has had its share of obstacles - she experienced miscarriages, c-sections, failed breastfeeding, postpartum depression, and suicidal ideation that awakened her to the personal challenges of parenthood. She is co-founder and chief nursing officer of a startup digital healthcare platform called Oath Care. Dr. Stephens feels commissioned to build this company from her personal and professional experiences to help other parents overcome the challenges they face.
